Co owners, Tim and Wes Buchhorn worked as engineers in training after receiving their college degrees in engineering. After completing their internship, they both sat for their Professional Engineering Exam. Upon receiving their License as Professional Engineers (P.E.) the brothers decided to launch their business in the Galveston County area.

In addition, Southeast Texas Engineering is appointed by the Texas Department of Insurance to perform windstorm inspections & certifications (WPI-8) for those projects located in a designated windstorm zone.
